cisco ip phone doesn't appear in topology view with configuration assistant

Hi All

Maybe I miss something in my cisco switch configuration ;

I have 2 ip phones connected into a cisco 2960 LAN-LITE switch.  Each of my IP phone has powersupply cause my LAN-LITE doesn't do PoE.

The 2 IP Phones are managed by a UC540.

Into the UC Configuration Assistant software, I'm not able to view the IP phones.  They're not discovered properly.

If I connect the IP phopnes directly into the UC's switchports, they are discovered correctly.

In both situations, the IP phones seems to work correctly.  I'm able to take calls, Voice mail works too, and so on.

Am I missing somethings into the switch's configuration

That can be normal, it depends on the version of CCA and Cisco router.  Did you enter the credentials of the router into the CCA?  Is the phone working now?

We will need to check to see if the Voice VLAN needs to be configured on the Cisco 2960 switch.  Can you post the CLI configuration of the UC540 and 2960?

The voice vlan is already configured into my switch.  I think I've just found out with the IP phone wasn't dicovered.  

A router was between the UC and the switch.  As soon I enabled cdp on that router (cdp was disabled) I say the router into the topology view instead of IP phones.  But he told me the router is an "Unsupported Device".  Is it normal ?

The phone has works from the beginning like I said.  Its the discovery process that doesn't work.  How do I enter the credentials of the router into the CAA ?
