SSIS - Putting data from SQL 2005 - Excel 2003

Seems to have a hard time with SQL data that is over 250 characters.  Need to do some sort of bulk load into excel where it would not matter how much text is being transferred to excel.
Do I use the VBA Script task?

Thanks.

Could you write out a csv file instead and load that into excel?

You can use Data flow task.
There wont be any problem excell may not be displaying the characters in a coulmn as maximum length for display is 255 but the data is there.

Just convert the data to excel. Select the column conaining long text in converted Excel data then just format the cell (using FORMAT-CELLS option from the menu) in excell & check the Wrap Text checkbox. It will then display the cell contents in multiple rows.

Could you write out a csv file instead and load that into excel? - Yes, tried that.  The Csv file does display properly. But going from csv to excel..I run into the same problem.

You can use Data flow task.

 - I am.  That contains the excel destination task.

Ghunaima - the full range of the text should be in the excel formula bar. All the data is simply not there.  It only list a few characters.   I have set my length on my outputs/inputs in the SSIS to 4000 characters.

I'm stumped.

Ckeck if there is any linebreak or carriage return (char(13, char(10))in the text field you are converting
