I have a list of scores that i want to be able to show who finished first, second, third. I want those perspective cells to turn a certain color if that cell is the first, second, third highest in the column. How do i do that..i am not that good at excell formulas and my contest is this weekend

Which version of Excel are you using?

If you want each of the top 3 values to have it's own color, then you need to create 3 different rules on the Conditional Formatting like this:

Top value: image1
2nd top value: image2
3rd top value: image3
