Issues moving Business Contact Manager Database (2007)
Just like to say, we attempted this today. We backed up the database from the orginal server, created a new DB on the new server using the BCM DB Tool, restored the database and shared the database, however, clients cannot connect to the database. It's a SQL 2005 named instance (SQLEXPRESS). Connecting to the database from BCM we are using the string server\sqlexpress, no go. No firewalls or anything in the way,

Can I just add to this, this didn't actually fix the problem. We still cannot connect to the DB.
