SQL port 61067 and domain Controllers. Problem in Sql databas

I am installing a Medicatl data base that runs on SQL server 2005 Lite edition. in a windows sewrver 2008r2 environment.. It is joined ins a Domain with windows Small business Server which acts as the Domain Controller, DHCP and DNS. . it is contained in Hyper-V. I had the Medicatl database up and running until I ran the dcprom and joined it to SBS 2008 With that I now get the dreaded port 61067 not communicating and timing  out.. I believe I have to change some values in the policy of sql and some registry changes to that i can get it to interface onced again. Any insight to this would be much appreciated. tt rph

check the sql server ports that are being used by tour installation.

open the sql server configuration manager... navigate to the client protocols  and righty click on tne TCP/IP and choose properties... There you will see the the port numbers your sql server listening... if you want you may change the port being listened.
