the library is in LCD mode which means an operator is (or has been) working with it. you need to go to the library physically and exist the LCD mode or reboot the library (remotelly). if it does not help you might be experiencing a hw failure

Hi,

We normally reboot ADIC even if there is no one working on LCD, and it temporaly fix the issue. But this days the issue comes each an every day sometime the reboot of the ADIC does not fix the issue. We connecting from the backup server using SCSI is ther a way to test a SCSI cable or even the SCSI control on a SPARC V440?

the library has some sort of console. telnet ssh, java console or web based. you need to login to the library console to see the status. the scsi reset command is something else than physical reboot of the library. your library needs service that is quite sure
