How to add unc path to group policy for intranet

Hello,
we currently have the home page in IE set to www.bbc.co.uk in our company.
We have just created a new intranet site which is located on another server
\\server1\c$\Inetpub\wwwroot\Contacts\intranet\Index.html
How can I add this site to the GP, as it is asking for a valid URL?
Thanks
