Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Offline Access Error

"The data file was deleted on the server before it was sent to your computer. Contact your administrator or try again."  This is the error I get when I click Go Offline from the CRM menu in Outlook.  All tasks up to and including Checking for Changes complete but I get 0 of 13610 system records synchronized to offline database.  Progress is error instead of completed. This is the first time I have tried to use Offline Access. I am using Outlook 2007 and CRM Rollup 14.  Any Ideas as to cause?  I've gooseegged on Google searches.

This isn't an error I've seen before. Do you have other users that are able to go offline? It would help to know whether the problem is specific to your PC, your account or the server.

You have Update Rollup 14 on your PC, is the same rollup installed on the server?

I only have two users set up to work offline and neither work.  One is me and I am set up as a CRM admin and am a domain admin, so it does not seem to be permission related.  I set the other as CRM admin, but no help.  Server and clients are rollup 14.
I had a thought that I have not checked yet.  The error says "the file was deleted by the server before it was sent..."  My exchange server has a ten MB limit for mail messages. These attempts are the initial efforts to go offline which means they need a great deal of data to build the initial local database.  I am wondering, since the CRM client is an Outlook add-in, whether the file has to go through Exchange and is being deleted for being over the limit.  I am going to try increasing the limit and see if it helps.
As far as I know, the offline synchronization does not involve exchange. Have you logged in the Windows Application log on the server and the client PC to see if there is any further useful information?
On the PC this was in the application

Event ID: 6000
An error occurred during Offline Synchronization.  Try going offline again, or restart Microsoft Outlook. Server failed generate BCP file. Error: 0x80044229.

Nothing showed up in application on the server.

Perfect.  Worked like a charm except I got a new error with mail merge records.  Please keep an eye out for a new question.
