Update or cancel Error

When entering information in my form ; before I can get to the end of the form entering information I always get this error Update or cancel update without add new or edit.  If I click ok it deletes the record..either way it does not let me complete the data entry of the form

    I can agree with SiddharthRout - it will be good to look code.
    May be you are trying to cancel adding record when it was not added yet.
    Or your code have no .AddNew or .Edit and you heve .Update

    These are the codes on my form
    Private Sub Form_Load()
    If Not Me.NewRecord Then
    RunCommand acCmdRecordsGoToNew
    End If
    End Sub
    I took all the other codes out.  I have a add new button and a delete button
