May be you are trying to cancel adding record when it was not added yet.<br />
Or your code have no .AddNew or .Edit and you heve .Update

When entering information in my form ; before I can get to the end of the form entering information I always get this error Update or cancel update without add new or edit. &nbsp;If I click ok it deletes the record..either way it does not let me complete the data entry of the form<br />

When entering information in my form ; before I can get to the end of the form entering information I always get this error Update or cancel update without add new or edit.  If I click ok it deletes the record..either way it does not let me complete the data entry of the form
