I have a software suppliers MSI files. It loads onto osme on my clients and onot others. It does load if I up gpupdate / force, but this negates the whole point. I am assigining it at a computer level in the GPO software installation. I have tried instaling it at a user level as well but this makes no difference. The sofware house (Smoothwall) cannot, as yet provide an answer, and ideas on what else I can try. Thanks

your english is hard to understand :-)

If i get it right you're trying to install a MSI-File via GPO to your clients. On some clients this software-installation succeeds and on others it does not.

A first look on those clients where the software does not install automatically should go into the eventlogs. Are there any hints of gpo-problems or dns-problems ?
