Solution which logs our daily bases calls from clients off Troubleshooting IT Issues

hi we have a large network and on daily basis we recive calls from people for thier computer networks related problems.i was looking for any software which we can use log every call so that we can track it down in the future that what happened and how it was fixed so if happens again we only need to fall back to it..any web-based solution i would love to use so that every body in IT dept can make an entry in to it indepently.....like setting up our own local iis server etc etc...........................any help in this regard would be highly appreciated

It is a great software and is open source code. You can use in Windows without any problem. I have in Windows 2008 r2 and works great.

Sharepoint WSS 3.0 (free version) has a IT Help Desk Template Site you could implement.

or if you want open source php web based..try HESK (hesk.com)

how to change the zone of it..i selected a new zone while  creating this but iits still showing old zone which i dont think so suits here...any help in this regard
