Not a computer problem per se.

I am interested in finding a good IT asset tracking system. Back when I first started IT we had metal labels with bar codes made. A bar code scanner hooked to some software and machines and monitors were tracked.
I am interested to see what is on the market today. Barnd names, websites etc. would be most appreciated.

The best one (the one we pick) gets the points!

I really like SpiceWorks.  It's free, reliable and also doubles as a good help desk application to assist in prioritizing "to do" items.
