Firewall Router compared to Netscreen 25

Our company has a Netscreen 25 VPN/Firewall router.

It does the job, but we are looking for one that will handled up to 1000Mbps data speeds and give better management.

Does anyone have recommendations that is comparable to what we have, just faster?

What don't you like about the current management? That could change recommendations significantly.

We are most interested in replacing to get Gigibit speeds on our network since our current only supports 100mbps, it is our bottle neck.

For management, I just want something updated.  The technology we have is old and I cant find manuals or books on our model.  I actually know very little about firewalls, but have been handed the task of finding options

To stay with the same manufacturer the replacement for the NetScreen 25 is the Secure Services Gateway Model SSG140. That does have two Gigabit ports so should fufil your basic requirement.

I would recommend a Watchguard XTM 5 series or maybe an XTM 2 series. They have four or five Gigabit ports depending on the model. They also use a more graphical interface than some, which should be easier to learn if you are not an experianced firewall user. The training should take less time than some others.

I would add in some Cisco models, but I find them daunting for people without much experiance in firewalls. If you have the time to take the training, consider them as well.
