Norton Internet Security 2011 Just installed it; STILL shows only OLD expiration

I just installed Norton Internet security but it shows that I'm still using 2010 which only had a few days of usage left on it.

How can I update the product key so that I get the full 1 year?

You can use this tool: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe to remove Norton Internet Security 2010, Reboot and only after reboot install the new Norton Internet Security 2011.
