cs alignment problem

http://tinyurl.com/4xzr6xr

I have some scrolling text in the header of this page. I need the text to align-right with the red bar, but it seems to be aligning left instead.

Also , a random bullet appears on the first scrolling item, but not the rest of the items. Any way to resolve these two issues?

You need to add styling for your nested li items.

You currently have a ul ID of news.

Try adding something like:
ul#news li {
  text-align: right !important;
}

Open in new window

For the bullet issue, which I didn't see, try adding:

ul#news, ul#news li {
  list-style-type: none;
}

Open in new window

that erased the bullet but the alignment is still off.

K. The alignment issue is deeper because of the markup on the XHTML.

You have given all of them a position of absolute and a display of block. Do you have a way to edit this? Or is this a plugin you are using that you can't access the source code?

this is not a plugin - and I don't see that code any of that code in the CSS - i wonder if the javascript is adding it?

Add this to what you added before. Should work.

ul#news, ul#news li {
float: right !important;
list-style-type: none;
text-align: right !important;
width: 200px !important;
padding: 0 10px 0 0;

Open in new window

Adjust the padding to get it further or closer to the edge.

Be sure to close out the syntax. Sorry. Left out the closing bracket.
