Purchase Visual Studio...

I had built some windows mobile 6 apps using the trial version of Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition...the trial ran out and now I have to purchase...im curious:
1) if I buy the vs 2008 PE cd off amazon for $800 and install on PC with the trial ...will the Cd install over write the trial...will I be able to open the WinMo apps with the cd install once loaded..
2) thought of purchasing Visual Studio 2010...theres ultimate..standard...dont see professional version..is  there a version that is backwards compatable will let me still modify the winmo apps in 2008?

windows mobile 6.x support has been dropped in VS 2010
You should have no problem installing VS 2008 PE over the trial version
I did see the visual studio 2010 express in vb...free...http://www.microsoft.com/express/Downloads/#2010-Visual-Phone
That has support for windows phone (7).. not mobile 6 unfortunately.
when they say Visual Studio 2008 Professional [Old Version]...what do they mean by old version?
they just mean it is the old version of visual studio i would have thought

you won't be able to target Windows Mobile 6 with VS2010
Here is the link to order directly from Microsoft store (Visual Studio 2010 Professional $549.00):

Without being a license expert, I doubt it is legit. VLK are provided to a company for licenses used by that company. If you are not an employee, I really doubt the license can be yours!
Put Android on your WM6.x, its much faster. I'm running it on my HTC Fuze. At least its not abandoned, like WM6.x
Mainly using a Focus now, and writing new apps for Windows Phone 7.. lots of free tools, docs, and books. Nice tutorials, too.
I didnt think you could put Android on WM6....you would have to take off the windows OS and reintall with Android...
