Epson R310 Printer on Windows 7 - Xp mode??

I have a client who wants to upgrade their computer system.
They currently have Windows Xp and want to get a computer with Winodws 7.

They have an Epson R310 printer which does not have Windows 7 supported drivers on the Epson Website.

I am wanting to know if anyone has successfully set up this printer or a similar one on a Windows 7 machine using the XP mode?

Cheers

alternatively, you can try windows update, or drivereasy to check if they find a driver
you can google it, or let drivereasy do it

Don't use XP mode for printers, it's a pain to have it run up all the time.

Use the driver for the R340, it's verified here:

I should have advised in previous post. The client wants to print on cd's so I presume he would need to use the Epson software to do that?

Yep.."Using the print CD program it is set to use the epson R340 pinter just let it print and all worked just fine"...the same 340 driver looks to do the job. Here's the driver page:
