I have problem when using "Run as Different user" to authenticate me with different user name on diff domain. But when I access the server using mstsc and provide same credential with the one I use when using "run as different user" it works fine.

But then when I run and conect using "sql authentication " it works only this happens when using windows/domain authentication

The error I got from "Run as Different user"  in sql server mgmt studio is login failed or bad password

- do u specify "/netonly" in you runas? when using "/netonly" switch, you can log in using remote credentials on a domain that you're not a member:

runas /netonly /user:domain\username programname.exe
