How to uninstall IE9 if not visible at "installed updates"?

Hi experts!

I need to uninstall IE9. Unfortunately, my computer does not behave as it should: IE9 is not even listed as installed update as it is on other PCs. I googled and found ways to use the update package manager (command line) to uninstall it, but these instructions fail - they seem to be suitable for the Beta of IE9 and not for RTM.

Anyone experienced here?

OS: Vista 32

I would suggest that you run "System Restore" to a previous point in time, where you can choose the date from before you installed IE9.

Here's what you need to do to uninstall IE9 on Windows Vista or Windows 7:
click your windows button and type view updates in the search box
once the results appear, click view installed updates
Don't want to search? Press Win+R and paste in the following:
C:\Windows\explorer.exe shell:::{d450a8a1-9568-45c7-9c0e-b4f9fb4537bd}
then press Enter.
wait for the Uninstall an update screen to load completely
scroll through the list until you find Windows Internet Explorer 9
click once to highlight IE9, then click the Uninstall button (or right-click and uninstall)
confirm that you want to uninstall (click yes)

Hi LTP-Legend, could it be that you missed the part where I wrote "IE9 is not even listed as installed update as it is on other PCs"? It's not there.

@expone: System restore is not used on this machine, I have an image, though but would first take a shot a removing it from the command line.

Found it.

FORFILES /P %WINDIR%\servicing\Packages /M Microsoft-Windows-InternetExplorer-*9.*.mum /c "cmd /c echo Uninstalling package @fname && start /w pkgmgr /up:@fname /norestart"

Did the trick.
