Questions :

Does this happen on all the document libraries every where ?

Does this Library have own Security ?

No it just happens for this user in this library. Security is inherited.

I tried and no luck. Same error.
the error should come up with a better message" long message." with code etc.

If that is not working

Can you see if the library has multiple views
if yes,  Open another view on your machine.
- Send it to the user and let them open it .

that might be a bad custom personal view

it didnt, I followed the article and even did an iisreset. Same error. Not following the multiple views?
Normally there is a default view call AllItems

but you can create any number of views you want.

You can create a custom view and send them that one.

More information. I can check out the doc from my machine with my login, but on her machine I cant even check it out. Its not her login, its mchine specific. Any ideas on that?

That is expected.

You can check with another browser

You can clean IE cache  ,and add the SharePoint site to trusted sites or Intranet Sites.

Best of luck.
