Save multiple firefox pages as text

I'm programming an application that opens a bunch of tabs within firefox.  I want to save all of the tabs (webpages) as text.  Firefox allows you to do this manually however, I can't figure out how to automate it.

There is currently no command line switch (that I am aware of) to save a URL as text from firefox.  I like the way firefox saves things to text because it takes everything from the screen as opposed to just getting the HTML.  If anyone has any ideas to save these pages as text via add-on or via VB.NET please let me know.
