Hello again,

Did the last solution not work? Are you still having issues?

It worked for FF. Just checked it in safari and having problems. I tried the following without success:
/* Extra padding in chrome & safari */
@media screen and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio:0) {
    button
    {
    	padding: 0;
    	margin: 0;
    	border: none;
    }
}

Did you try adding the margin: -1px to your above code? (From developer page)

Richard LeeSoftware EnthusiastAuthor Commented:
ok the -1px solves the top alignment but there is still a padding issue.

This seems to have done the trick:
/* Extra padding in chrome & safari */
@media screen and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio:0) {
    button
    {
    	padding: 0;
    	border: none;
    }

    button span
    {
    	padding: 0;
    	margin-top: -1px;
    	margin-right: -3px;
    	border: none;
    }
