Acrobat Reader prints some docs as black pages

I am having a problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader within a TS 2008 environment.

Intermittently when the user prints the PDF file, it prints a full page black.

Environment is:
Windows 2008 server 32 bit.
Application is published through Application publishing within the TS.
Clients are Win XP SP3.

Acrobat versions tried 8 and 10.

Main application launches Acrobat Reader to display attached documents.

Printout depends on printer and printer drivers and print settings.
Do you get white pages when printing as image?

Nope.

Tested as image and it prints without problem.  But the problem I am seeing is intermittent and I might just not be hitting it at the right time.
Will have my users test and let you know.

Printing problems with Acrobat or Reader are in most cases caused by printer drivers that are older than the version of Acrobat or Reader you are using. Update your printer driver and see if that fixes the problem.

What is your printer model? Firmware installed there?

Does it print with PCL6 driver?
PCL6 matches windows GDI functionality and probably not hitting adobe-generated graphics primitives not present in GDI and apparently not tested by printer maker.

Printer is a Konica Minolta Bizhub 601.

I just upgraded the drivers to the latest from there site.
Will know for sure if this cured it by the end of the day.

I see exactly TWO drivers in their European download site:

http://www.konicaminolta.eu/business-solutions/support/download-center/download-result.html?packageId=42161&productName=bizhub%20601

http://www.konicaminolta.eu/business-solutions/support/download-center/download-result.html?packageId=42218&productName=bizhub%20601

namely readme file of 42161 suggests using printing as image in Acrobat (and Reader prints same way):

(2) Adobe Acrobat [* PS Driver only]
  1) When a printing is performed from Acrobat Reader or Acrobat, Printing may
     not be performed normally.
==> Please check the [Print as image] on the Print setting of the
         application.

My suggestion is to use PCL driver (second link) instead.

Updating the driver to the latest did not help.

Changing it from the Postscript to the PCL6 driver did not help either.

Going to revert the version back to 8 per khkremer suggestion.

Will let you know Monday what happens.

Just verified with user that all is now well.  Updating to the latest print driver and an older version of Acrobat Reader did the trick.
