Hi Experts,

I just entered my credit card information in to the Amazon Cloud and now I have access to the AWS. I was trying to create a Amazon Suse 64bit instant but it's always "terminated" after the "pending" status.

I have already created a Elastic IPs. And also do I need to create Volumes as well ????

Can you just assist me on this ?

@GKalosky: so whtz the resolution, do i need to wait until it's gets normal ??

Commented:
No clear answer as the issues are somewhat intermittent, but I would wait rather than suffer any other issues which you may end up chasing as a result.

I'm not convinced that the existing Status is the cause!

How many instances?

Availbility zone?

Instance Type?

did you select?

you are not using Monitoring, User Data, base64 encoded?

instance details, Created a Key Pair?

Checkout the Details here, is your instant similar?

I'm wondering if, you account details are correct, or if Amazon can reach you telephone number, because they verify with you (over the phone) so make sure your phone details are correct.

To put through the Instance, to verify against account take overs.

They've been calling me all day!, and I had a call now testing this!

you are not using Monitoring, User Data, base64 encoded? No Monitoring, and no encoded.

instance details, Created a Key Pair? Ya once I was able to run a public cent os instant, and when I stopped it instant went to terminated stage and I lost it.

I'm confused !

Stopped should not terminate.

Only terminate to terminate the Instance.

It may be worth picking another instance, and checking you can run it, there may be issues with your account?

so on launching it states pending and then terminated?

query with amazon services something wrong with your account, verification, or card details?

have amazon called you to verify account or instances creation?
