Server 2008 Standard SP2.

Nothing was changed on our server except for a few windows updates that were installed.  I'm not sure if that was the case or not, but I have the error here:

  Stopped working

Problem signature:
  Problem Event Name:      APPCRASH
  Application Name:      mmc.exe
  Application Version:      6.0.6002.18005
  Application Timestamp:      49e02760
  Fault Module Name:      mscorwks.dll
  Fault Module Version:      2.0.50727.5653
  Fault Module Timestamp:      4d54a59c
  Exception Code:      c0000005
  Exception Offset:      00000000001dfa64
  OS Version:      6.0.6002.
  Locale ID:      1033

Any ideas?  I can't open any roles or applications, they just all crash.

What kind of updates is installed?  Look in the Event viewer for further errors.

I fixed the issue by uninstalling the updates that installed the night before.
