Exhcange 2003: Exchange Active-Sync virtual Directory - Exchange OMA directory.

What is the difference between the /oma directory and the /activeSync directory in IIS on Exhcange 2003 ? (any SP level)

Sorry to ask such a basic quesiton but i realy like to know.

Oma is the rubbish WAP version of OWA
ActiveSync synchs your mail to your phone

They don't rely on each other in any way shape or form

Oma is for very old phones that couldn't browse the Internet, it is a very basic version of OWA for mobiles, try it and you will see what I mean. Just open https://<your domain>/oma on your phone
