Hello everyone,

Does anyone knows if possible  to customize the UI of an Android Tablet to just let the user have the browser option? The tablet will be used as a kiosk and I need the user not to be able to change settings or options in the system. The best option in my scenario will be to have a multi-user login , with this I could have 1 "administrator" user and 1 "limited" user. But as far as I know there's no option like this yet.

So anyone know if this could be accomplish?

Well, an un-rooted Android device essentially IS a limited user login. But for what you are talking about, no, I don't think that's possible.

But, another route to consider is using an app to lock down the other apps and the system. Take a look at Android Protector ( and see if that will do what you need?
