iPAD VPN Authentication failed when PPTP attempted
I have a VPN router (snapgear) that is used very often for employees VPN work from home as well as remote support. VPN between Windows devices is no problem for us. BUT two iPADusers cannot VPN from home. I have the feeling after getting the Authentication Failed message that it has to do with the windows domain being important within the network, and the MAC VPN setting having no place to account for a domain. What am I missing? I've done this once before successfully with an iPad, but I had to do something different I can't remember, crate a non-domain user in the snapgear? use L2TP instead? this was not hard once I was pointed in the right direction, I just can't remember MAC stuff, since it is so user friendly I'm never asked about the same thing twice, except now VPN.
Does the snapgear have a VPN log you can see the failed attempts on?

Can they use vpn from other locations?
If so, it is possible that their router (at home) to connect to the internet does not support vpn.

Well this was easier than it appeared, yes all I had to do was create a VPN account on the router without a domain affilliation.
