Is the server configured with dynamic IP? Is there any error message on event viewer? Is this first dc on your 2003 environment? Have prepared the adprep/domainprep, adprep/forestprep,adpre/gp<wbr />prep?<br />

I am trying to add the AD role to Windows 2008 R2 system It looks like it is installing but fails with the ATTACHED error with no indication why. Any ideas?
