On double clicking any drive, Windows 7 Professional throws an error while it does open after right clicking and then selecting open.

The error: "The file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel."

The above fixes are for file association errors on .exe files.  Try the one for "drive" on this page:
