Home network drive doesn't attach in Windows 7

Hi!
I have moved 2 users in our domain from Windows XP to Windows 7 desktops. Now, when they log in, their H home drive doesn't attach.
I have checked permissions and tried to open directory from their own computers and had NO issues.
When we go back to their old desktops, Home folder attaches without issues.
We are running Server 2008 SP2 standard and I set home folders up in Active directory user settings.
any suggestions are appreciated.

p.s. Users DO NOT have roaming profiles.

Thanks for your comment. I was on the road all day yesterday and landed to the same thought - card reader's hidden reservations of drive letters. I checked with those guys and , indeed, this was the case.
Thanks for your advice.
