Dynamics CRM 4.0 Unable to connect remotely

Setting up CRM 4.0 rollup 14 and I connect fine through Outlook 2007 when on the local LAN but I am unable to connect remotely from home over my wireless network.  Any ideas why?

To connect remotely you have to either:
1) connect to your office LAN using a VPN connection or
2) configured your CRM server for access over the Internet using an Internet-Facing Deployment configuration

Just because Outlook can connect with Exchange, this does not mean the CRM part will. Additional configuration is needed.
