I am having an issue with webparts, they are installing but not showing up in the site features.  Do you know what would cause this?  It seems to have the same behavior for 2 or 3 I have tried.  They are also showing as deployed in Central Admin.

    Accepted Solution

may be you are looking in a sub site,

go to site collection > site settings > SITE COLLECTION FEATURES,
    it must be listed,

    if yes,
    activate it.

    if no,
share how did you deployed the feature.
