How do I restart my Iomega NAS when the GUI is inaccessible

Occasionally I receive an email message from my nas saying that the LAN connection has dropped off, but I can ping it and it the backups are OK.  However, the GUI interface to the unit is inaccessible.  The address just hangs there in a browser.

It seems the way to get accss back is to restart the box but the only way to do it is to unplug the box which does not seem to be the best way to go about it.  Pressing the power button for up to 30 seconds does nothing.

Since I can ping the box is there any way to restart the box via the command line.   I'm running window XP.
