Outlook 2010 Reciepent Lookup Not Working

We are running Windows 7 Enterprise with Outlook 2010 (exchange housed internally). A user that has been typically able to start typing his wife's email address said it used to pop up, but it doesn't any longer. Also there is one person internally that he cannot have self-populate as it used to. What could cause this?

On the user's machine, go to Email accounts and select the Exchange server.
Continue through the modify account wizard until you reach the server & username step.
Under the server name, deselect the checkbox for "Use Cached Exchange Mode" and continue through the rest of the prompts

Restart Outlook - the names should populate now. If this is a stationary desktop, leave cached mode off, otherwise turn it back on afterward.
