I want to have 1 small box on a web page on my that my user's can change to add text anytime, themselves, without HTML Editing and without FTP'g. For example, the user goes to their website, clicks "edit" (or something similar), enters a password, and then can enter the New Text.
1. Is Adobe CONTRIBUTE still an easy way to go ? I used it years ago
2. Is there a better away to handle this? Any PHP Scripts ?
On this web host, we run Linux/Apache, not IIS.

Thanks all in advance for any help !

I have not use Adobe Contribute in a very long time; not sure it is still alive.

With a little bespoke programming you might be able to adapt the TinyMCE textarea replacement to this task.  Or you can write the web page in Wordpress and let the users make their changes that way.

Contribute is still alive but it's overkill for this need.

Ray's right in that a very small amount of custom programming (not more than an hour or 2) can produce this with PHP

Both Ray and I have the Hire Me button in our profiles.  You can use that to contact us and talk through the process.  Bear in mind that Ray has about a Gazillion more points than I do in php and that does mean he's a lot better than I am at this stuff.

Thx Jason ! I never realized that "Hire Me" here is an option ! I have been using for all my work sub'ing.

It's a relatively new feature (only been around for 8 months or so) and it was rolled out a little on the quiet side.  But it's here, so if you want to sub out to a favorite Expert, you can.
