&nbsp;It only takes between 2 to 5 minutes to shutdown so I don't think it would be the power saver settings. &nbsp;Remember it seems to work with IE8 but not with Firefox. &nbsp;The link you sent me seems promising; it might need cleaning. &nbsp;This is a friend's machine and she has pets and dander around the house so I will try to clean it out with compressed air.<br />
