Pretty simple Excel formula. Add values from two columns.

Hello Excel Experts,

I have attached an example.  I have data in two columns.  For instance:

1000 1
1000 3
1001 6
1001 3
1002 9
1003 5
1003 3

I would like to add up all the values for 1000.  As well as 1001, 1002, 1003 (and so forth).

The results for the above would look like:

1000 4
1001 9
1002 9
1003 8

If someone could help me with the proper formula so that I could add the data from column B together if Column A is the same value.  If you could post it in my example, then that would be especially helpful.  Thanks!

Another alternative, using sumif...

Put this in column B and drag down:

=SUMIF('Data Upload'!A:A,A1,'Data Upload'!B:B)

See attached,

Enjoy!
