BL460c G7 : NIC not detected in ESX 3.5

Dear Experts,

We have installed ESX 3.5 U5 on a new BL460c G7 blade today.  The onboard NICs are detected by ESX however, the two NICs corresponding to the mezzanine card are not being detected.

The model of NIC card is "HP NC382m Dual Port 1GbE Multifunction BL-c Adapter".  HP website is not providing the drivers for ESX 3.5 for this model, only ESX 4 drivers are available.  Can anyone help me find the driver for the same.

Thanks.

your server is not supported by ESX 3.5U5. Is there any reason why you are using an old unsupported on a new server, rather than ESXi/ESX 4.1?

have you tried using the esx 4 drivers. Otherwise its unlikely you will be able to obtain drivers for esx 3.5 for brand new hardware. HP/VMware would have to compile drivers specifically for you.

I know its about a different nic but its the same just get the HP NC382m linux driver
see

if you are seriously using this server for production, i wouldnt recommend a hack to fix it.

To be fully supported I think you're going to have to swap them for NC325m quad port gigabit and just use half the ports, for some reason the NC360m isn't listed as supported in BL460c G7 even though it'll work.
