Point Limitation

Is there a point limit on questions in P&R?
Does this also apply to questions cross-posted from other zones?

Where is this described on the EE website?

I am going to try to make this a 500 point question and cross post to another
zone as a test.

=======================================================

Actually running an experiment can provide valuable information.

The EE website forced me to lower the points to 50 before submission.

I would still like to find where this is described on the site.

From sifting through the EE help page http://www.experts-exchange.com/help.jsp I conclude that the limit mentioned is not expressly mentioned (at least not in an easy to find fashion).
It is of course imaginable that "Philosopy & Religion" (and others like "Politics" or "Lounge", maybe all those where you get that "offensive language" warning when entering) suffer from the fact that there usually is no really "right" answer and this might lead to people supplying one another with points on no "valid" grounds if there was no low limit. (OTOH, I see an open 250 question among many 50 pointers in Politics ...)

do a search in the philosophy/religion area for 50 point limit. there was much discussion on this subject, and it all happened recently.

I may be mistaken but it seems to me there was something in one of the newsletters about six months ago on this being reduced to 50 points maximum.  I don't have access to my storage at the moment - I will try to look it up this evening.
