I am using dd.exe for Window 7. I'm trying to copy image file from 1 hard drive to another hard drive but the problem that I had I wasn't b able to copy folders from source drive.

This is the command that I used:

dd.exe --localwrt if=[source] of=[destination path]\"nameofyourimagefile".image

Can anyone provide me with the command that allow me to copy "WHOLE" hard drive to another hard drive?? The source HD data from 10 to 80 gb.

Thank you

If you are running the o/s from the operating system that you are trying to copy it simply will not work. file permissions and files in use will stop the process. You can use the acronis free utility from seagate Disk Wizard
