Trying to make a simple link to UPS's mobile website with a tracking number. Have figured out how to do it to their regular website:

http://wwwapps.ups.com/etracking/tracking.cgi?tracknum=<tracking number>

However need to link to their mobile site (and their regular website doesn't seem to see that I'm on a phone):

http://m.ups.com/ ???

Any ideas? I have spent way too much time trying to figure this out :(

Well.

Going to http://m.ups.com/mobile/home
I see a POSTED form - which, unless they allow it, will not do GET which you need to link to it

<form name="track_form" id="track_form" action="../mobile/track?loc=en_US#Track" method="post" accept-charset="utf-8">
<input type="text" id="trackingNumber" name="trackingNumber"/>
<input type="hidden" value="t" id="t" name="t" />
<input type="submit" id="track_submit" value="Track" class="btn"/>
</form>

If they do allow it, I would expect a link like this

http://m.ups.com/mobile/track?trackingNumber=<trackingnumber>&t=t&loc=en_US#Track

but if that does not work, then you need to ask them

Dang, that worked! I contacted them after I posted and they stated it was their policy that people don't link to their website this way and instead program their own solutions using their API.  Developing a solution using their API would take me a long time to write.. Hopefully this will work long term but am ok if I have to deal with that later if they change their website as this isn't for a customer facing solution.

Thank you!

Yeah I did google for their API for you but when I didn't see any obvious mobile API with a good example, I decided against posting a link to them to not make you waste more time :)
