Not sure why you want to use L2TP specifically, but here is the link from Cisco

If you need help with it let me know.

Is there anything better than L2TP ?

Yes, between Cisco devices the pure IPsec is much better than encapsulation L2TP over IPsec.

I wasn’t able to find a full how-to-guide because the actual implementation of IPsec depends on the router model and IOS but on cisco.com you will find a lot of documents and manuals.

Here is an example of site-to-site IPsec VPN between ASA and IOS router using SDM but you could use the same approach for IOS to IOS IPsec VPN:

OK, Tkz spaperov, i'll go through it and try .
You may also try GRE or IP in IP tunneling. There are many configs available, simpler than IPSec. L2TP is oriented to "sessions", Dial-UP for example. You may use it, but I do not recommend it for your scenario.
