Accounts RECEIVABLE Software for 1 person

Hi All - We are looking for some "easy to use" software to keep track of Billing, Payments received, etc. (If it runs on a Mac, great, if not, we have Windows also).
We have been trying out QuickBooks Pro 2011 for Windows ... and though we like it, it is a little over-kill for what we need.
Can anyone make any recommendations for Account Receivable/Billing/Invoicing software besides the obvious "we like Quickbooks" <smiles>  ?

Thx all

The two smallest accounting packages with Invoices and Accounts Receivable are QuickBooks and Simply Accounting. I like and use QuickBooks.

To get less functionality and less cost, you need to look at Excel or open source software.

Take a look at http://www.gnucash.org/

It says it does invoicing and A/R and works on Windows, MAC and Linux.

I agree, Quickbooks will provide fast access to invoices, and A/R. It also runs on a Mac. I've used it for twelve years and it works very well.
Look into Mint.com It is a free online accounting solution that is now owned by Intuit, the makers of QuickBooks. Since it's online, I would think you could access from a Mac, but not sure.

Thanks all ! I "bit the bullet" and bought QuickBooks for Mac. Am reading the 600-page manual right now :-)

Thank you. Good luck with QuickBooks - it is a very decent accounting package. ... Thinkpads_User
