VBScript - Power on Windows 7 Machine

Hi Experts,

Is it possible to have a VB script that checks to see if a computer (Windows 7 Pro) is powered on, and if it is not, power it up?

    i dont think  VBscript can power on a system..if the system has WakeOnLan feature you can try WOL utilities out ..

    Dont think that it's necessary to check if it's off. There's no harm in sending the "Wake-up Packet" to a client thats already on.

    There's an example of a Vbs WOL script here.
