please guys if you provide URLs also it would be great .....  and little more information about hardware what kind of hardware i have to look do i need to take backup on harddisk or tape ... thanks ....
here is a link: http://www.symantec.com/business/system-recovery-server-edition.

System restore will back up to tape, disk, or network location.  It will also allow you to backup to 2 locations (what it calls a remote location).

The restore can be done on the same machine, or a completetly different machine.  they give you a boot disk that will guide you step by step.  I use to use it to completely back up domain controllers,  then restore them to test network computers.

They have a 60 day trial full trial.
We are using Acronis Drive Image for Workstations and Server.
I prefer local backup to online backup due to lots of reasons.
We have 3 Network storage devices in different sections of the building with a capacity of 8TB each.
Acronis provides an excellent solution of imaging the Harddisk as complete backup or incremental backup. Our Acronis is scheduled to take fullbackup of entire harddrives  on every month and incremental daily at a certain time.
Even there is an option of universal restore in Acronis with the help of which you can restore image of any server to a local workstation as well and you will be back in business in like 20 mins :)

I do tsm http://www-01.ibm.com/software/tivoli/products/storage-mgr/
We use it as backup enterprise solution with a  tape library for our environment (UNIX, AIX, Linux, Windows, Oracle, MSSQL...)
http://www-01.ibm.com/software/tivoli/products/storage-mgr/features.html
Use IBM Tivoli Storage Manager FastBack, provides next-generation data protection for business critical Windows servers in data centers, remote/branch offices and small/medium-sized businesses

What's your storage?  If EVA, HP Data Protector has a very neat Zero Downtime Backup option that also provides for very fast restores.
