simple password for sql server 2005 enterprise sql connection

when I set up a password  for a sql user
(since installing sp3)
I am now told the password is not complex enough
and have to use a password that is many characters and many types of characters

is there a way to do a simpler password
because when I integrate with another program, I am told by that program that the password is too complex

    Please create password with minimum length of 6 with Special character, Number, Alphbets
