All in One SEO is fantastic. It works like a charm! A must have for every wordpress site.
Not quite as automatic, but the can be set to be fairly close. The way it works is that you tell it how you want the titles configured (usually post title + blog title) and how to use the tags and post excerpt.
The excerpt is usually used for description and the tags are keywords but you can configure the plugin to do just about anything with the post data and custom fields.
The one thing it won't do is decide what your keywords are, nor should it. That should be done by the author.
