Solved - creating a New SocketClient

Hello there,
I am having a little issue creating a New SocketClient..
when I enter the actual password like this it works

Dim Client As New SocketClient("myUser", "myPass")

but when I make it get the password from a textbox it wont run..

Dim Client As New SocketClient(User.Text, Pass.Text)

what can I do?

    Have you had a look at what the value of User.Text and Pass.Text are?
    If they don't not match the strings you are using in your first example where it works. Then I guess you should clean up the input.

    First thing I'd look at is if the Pass.Text property does no return a list of stars '****'?
