Certificate error in communicator

hi for few client machines, in microsoft 2007 communicator i am getting the error "there was a problem verifying the certificate from the server. Please contact your system administrator". Please help on how to resolve this.

    Reading your post, it seems you just acquired a new, updated certificate?  Is that correct?  Couple of questions that come to mind..  First, the original certificate worked fine with no issues - correct?  Second, you changed cert providers from say VeriSign to Thawte as an example - correct?  The main point being, you may need to re-request the cert file(s).  The next point would be is that you may need to disable antivirus on the problem workstations when deploying the updated cert.

    Now all communicators are working. i think server team has did some changes in proxy. is there any connection between certificate errors and proxy?
